1875 CC Liberty Seated Twenty Cent Piece PCGS/CAC MS-62

For sale: 1875 CC Liberty Seated Twenty Cent Piece PCGS/CAC MS-62

1875 CC Liberty Seated Twenty Cent Piece PCGS/CAC MS-62

Product Description:

This is one of those coins that is accurately graded on a technical basis but whose eye appeal exceeds its condition rating. While there are enough small hits and scattered hairlines to lower the obverse’s technical grade to MS-62, the surfaces are pleasantly original, with color-coordinated patches of peripheral toning to give the coin a vintage look. The reverse offers more of the same, with cleaner surfaces and more luster. The strike, which is a pivotal issue on 1875-CC twenty-cent pieces because so many of them are weakly struck, is bold and allows clear visibility of the feathers on the eagle’s upper left wing area. Overall, a very attractive and desirable example of this popular type coin from the Carson City Mint.

• CAC-stickered, PCGS-certified Carson City Twenty-cent piece
• Carson City Mintage: 133,290
• Great eye appeal, with vintage-looking, colorful surfaces
• Strong eagle shoulder, with clear definition of wing feathers
